1. Join and find players
Sign up free and fill in your profile. Join your club with the invite link it shares, or create a club. Find people to play on the players page.
Players a club adds by name can claim their profile later with the invite link and keep all their results.
2. Send a challenge
Open a player's page and tap Challenge, or send a challenge for singles, doubles or mixed doubles. Choose one game or best of three, to 11, 15 or 21 points, side-out or rally scoring, the date and the courts. Leave the opponent empty to post an open challenge anyone can accept.
3. Club ties
A club can challenge another club to a tie: three or five matches of singles and doubles. Each club's organisers pick their players for every match on the tie page. The club that wins more matches wins the tie.
4. Send the umpire link
On the match page, copy the umpire scoring link and send it to whoever keeps score at the court. Anyone with the link can score that one match, without an account. Make a new link any time to switch it off.
5. Score it live
Pick who serves first (and in doubles, who serves and who receives), then tap Won the rally on the side that won each rally. The screen keeps the score, works out server 1 and server 2, side-outs and which court to serve from, shows the call to read out (like 4–2–1), calls game point and match point, and tells you when to change ends. Made a mistake? Tap Undo last.
After a rally you can also tag how it was won (dink, drive, drop shot, volley, overhead smash and more, or a fault such as a kitchen fault), who hit it and where the ball landed. That builds every player's shot map. Tagging is optional.
6. After the match
Add up to 5 photos, prizes and who gave them. Ratings, rankings, player stats and tournament tables update straight away.
Ratings
Every player starts at 1000, with separate singles and doubles ratings. After each finished match, the winners take points from the losers. Beating a much stronger opponent earns more, and a bigger winning margin counts a little more. In doubles both partners move by the same amount. Walkovers count in the record but don't change ratings. Clubs get their own rating from club ties.
Scoring rules
Traditional (side-out) scoring: only the serving side scores. Games go to 11 (or 15 or 21), win by 2. In doubles both partners serve before the serve passes to the other side (a side out), except at the start of each game, when the first serving side has one server only: the call is 0–0–2. The server calls their score, the receivers' score and the server number, for example 4–2–1. When the serving side wins a rally, the server switches courts with their partner and serves again.
Rally scoring: every rally wins a point, whoever served. The serving side switches courts when it wins a point on serve. When the receivers win a rally they score and serve next, from the right court on an even score and the left on an odd score.
In singles you serve from the right on an even score and from the left on an odd score. Ends change half way through the deciding game: at 6 in a game to 11, 8 in a game to 15 and 11 in a game to 21.
